I’m Kristen McGee, a Birmingham-based interior designer and licensed realtor who believes good design should feel approachable and personal — never overwhelming. After more than 14 years helping clients across Birmingham and Alabama’s lake communities with finding their homes, I’ve learned that sometimes you just need a little guidance to get unstuck. Each intensive includes a design discovery call, your dedicated design session (in-person or virtual), and a detailed recap with recommendations and next steps. You’ll have clear direction and a plan to move forward confidently.
Where do sessions take place?
I offer both in-person and virtual Design Intensives. In-person sessions are available in Birmingham and many of Alabama’s lake communities.
How should I prepare for my session?
Before we meet, I’ll ask for a few photos, measurements, and any inspiration images that show your style and goals. Don’t worry — I’ll guide you through exactly what’s needed to make the most of our time together.
